    • The Director, Risk Management, Global Security, is responsible for several global programs that includes the risk management strategy across the Johnson & Johnson's enterprise.
    • Include: special events and business meetings, including creation of policy, design of procedures and guidance for meeting planners, and consultation on risk associated with events.
    • Executive Protection, which includes design and execution of the suite of executive protection services for residential security, ground transportation security, in office security, event security, and travel security to protect executives.
    • Executive protection including the CEO, Chairman of the Board, the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors.
    • The Director, Risk Management, Global Security leads Johnson & Johnsons Travel Security program which includes the strategy and operation of associate policies and guidance in alignment with critical internal and external stakeholders in support of our travel duty of care obligations.
    • Included in the Travel Security program is the 24/7 Global Security Operations Center which serves as the monitoring and operational arm of Global Security.
    • The Director, Risk Management, Global Security serves as the department's primary liaison for Crisis Management, including overseeing the accountability of employees, travelers, and associates in the impact area of crisis events as well as the collaboration with activated CMT's and the Operational Crisis Response Team for all hazards including natural disasters, pandemics, and geo-political events.
    • The Director, Risk Management, Global Security is responsible for the Global Security technology strategy and landscape which involves creating the ongoing three-year technology strategy for Global Security, as well as managing projects, upgrades, deployments, enhancements, or current and future technology capabilities. Within the current Global Security technology landscape are the following capabilities categories: Access Management (AM), Video and CCTV Management (VM), Visitor Management (VS), Emergency Communication (EC), Incident Management (IM), Business Travel Security (BTS), Threat Intelligence (TI), and Background Check Services (BC).
    • The Director, Risk Management, Global Security is responsible for vendor management including annual Key Performance Indicators and Metrics, collaboration with procurement on contracting, and purchase order management.
    • The Director, Risk Management, Global Security oversees the Global Security website, the Minimum-Security Standards, assists with data analysis and multi-media / presentation support, procedure and policy development for the department and supports the departments onboarding and internships.
    • The Director, Risk Management, Global Security will oversee the company's strategy for non-violence in the workplace including employee education, CMT training, tabletop exercises, and security training.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Professional degree required: 4 Year Bachelor's Degree. In Business Administration, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Corporate Security, Emergency or Crisis Management, Law Enforcement, Intelligence, Global Policy, or related field.
    • Preferred Related Industry Experience (if applicable): Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Preferred
    • Required Years of Related Experience: 15 Years to include at least 10 years working with a Corporate or Global Security department.
    • Leadership skills and ability with partner with external and internal stakeholders
    • Experience with security technology programs, executive protection, and crisis management
    • Project Management and Multi-tasking
    • Expert understanding of the Private Security field; and a strong background in security technology capabilities.
    • People Leadership skills including remote team management skills are important.
    • Possess demonstrated organization skills and sound judgement
    • Results-objectives-goal oriented; cost-benefit analyst, decision maker, strategic planner and tactical executive.
    • Possess the ability to brief at all levels of the company and communicate openly and candidly across Business Units and operating companies.
    • Able to prioritize, plan, execute and multitask work programs on own initiative with developed sense of self-knowledge, knowing own limitations and able to judge when it is necessary to consult / inform / involve others, often in short timelines.
    • Strong computer skills including intermediate presentation design and excel spreadsheets creation and management.
    • Membership in professional security organization is preferred
    • Experience in decentralized environment where decision making is shared
    • Prior private sector experience involving Corporate Security and in providing security services is required
    • Demonstrate ability to develop and grow stakeholder relationships
    • Must be able to work in team-oriented management environments while working independently
    • Ability to oversee and manage external vendors and provide sensitive briefings to senior executives

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $133,000 to $228,850 USD. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
