This position may have the flexibility to work from home after a training and probationary period. Primary Responsibilities: Address Addendum requests received on a previously submitted DBQ and provide feedback to providers, individual departments as well as Quality Assurance team on any returns Ensure that the contractual Turn - Around requirement for return of reports is met. This requires reviewing the requests when not clear and providing clarification to the Providers in order to expedite responses Ability to read addendums and medical reports and determine if billable or non-billable Insures that all “new” Providers are extensively trained on completing Addendum Reports Maintain a library of all addendum returns Required Qualifications: College coursework in Medical Sciences 1 year experience in working as a Quality Assurance Specialist, Quality Inspection, or medical auditing experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, Medical Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Biology or Biological Sciences or Foreign Medical Graduate Knowledge of Disability Benefit Questionnaire (DBQ) requirements per VA standards Background in medical research Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel Careers with MSLA.
