    Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, distributors, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.

    This individual is primarily responsible for leading initiatives and performing duties within our Johnson & Johnson Internal Medicine business which includes harmonization of processes and work product efforts across teams, business partnering across functions, leading various projects involving revenue assurance initiatives / audit and other value generating opportunities.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Audits of contracts with various Customer Channels (Managed Care Organizations, Distributors, Wholesalers) to assess compliance of the Customers with contract terms and ensure the integrity of the J&J payments made to these Customers.
    • Performing annual risk assessments to develop and execute the annual audit plans and related budget requirements.
    • Managing the relationship with third party auditors and ensuring the audits are on track to be completed timely and accurately.
    • Safeguarding completion of due diligence on audit findings by working with lead auditors collaborating closely with cross functional teams (Strategy, Offer Development, Legal, Account Directors, Contract Verification Analytics etc.). The successful individual filling this position will be accountable for leading communication with Customers to present the audit findings and formally closing audits.
    • Leading a strong team that delivers value to the companies we support.
    • Leading the Appian Audit Module application and building the most effective and efficient process for tracking, maintaining and reporting of Audits.
    • Owning the SOP’s and Work Instructions for our Internal Medicine (including harmonization of processes across sectors).
    • Interact independently with all levels of management throughout the enterprise.
    • Possess both strong written and verbal communication vital in aiding the development of team, conveying outcomes, opportunities, and requirements to various levels of leadership within the organization.
    • Lead and participate in ad-hoc projects that bring value as well as implement continuous process improvements.
    • Leading/performing our Wholesaler audits for the commercial business.
    • Completing the Provider Audit pilot and assessing future channel coverage including next steps and buy in from the business.
    • Collaborate to ensure success of critical projects, such as Accumulator/Maximizer evaluation, Aggregator risk mitigation and contract support, etc.
    • Developing current team staff, with direct management of at least one staff member.
    • Leading value-based initiatives aimed at preventing/minimizing revenue leakage.
    • Harmonizing efforts and work product across teams.
    • Cross-training and building knowledge base for managed markets audit and areas of interest to the business.
    • Leading updates and oversight of our dashboards, metrics, and preparing for/delivering key leadership updates.
    • Ensuring the successful strategy and continuous improvement of our Audit program overall.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Minimum of bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required; MBA, CPA or equivalent preferred.
    • A minimum of 5 years Finance, Accounting, Compliance/Audit and or related subject area required.
    • Experience interacting with all levels of management is required.
    • Intermediate to advanced MS Office, emphasis on Excel is required.
    • Exceptional Leadership and Communication skills required.
    • Self-motivated with ability to think critically, challenge status quo, identify trends, problem solve and persevere when faced with ambiguity required.
    • Ability to travel 5 - 10% annually.
    • Experience within the healthcare or pharmaceutical/medical device industry.
    • Experience leading and developing people.
    • Project planning experience (Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.).
    • Experience with advanced analytics/AI and related tools a plus.
    • Experience conducting Contract Customer audits or equivalent.
    • Experience with leading/coordinating external audit or consulting teams.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is 100,000 to 172,500.

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
