    Job Description:

    Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a **Manager E &PS Project Delivery Process Excellence. **This is a hybrid role **** available at New Brunswick, NJ, Miami, FL or Jacksonville, FL.

    The Process Excellence Manager will lead initiatives to optimize project delivery through the identification, assessment and enhancements of existing project delivery processes. This role requires a deep understanding of project management principles and lean continuous improvement methodologies. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote process standardization and best practices, driving operational efficiency and value delivery.

    A suitable candidate for this role will have experience with end-to-end capital project execution. The role will require collaboration with regional/corporate E&PS teams, J&J sector supply chain teams, and other enterprise functions (procurement, finance, etc.) to effectively implement operational and governance related aspects across E&PS scope.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate effectively with Project Delivery Business Excellence leaders to assess, develop, and implement process improvements
    • Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive process maps and workflows to ensure clarity and consistency
    • Proactively identify and develop opportunities for enhancements to the IDEA framework, leveraging tools such as Power Apps and Power BI to optimize processes and deliver innovative solutions
    • Provide robust support for IDEA Governance and Sustainability, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
    • Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing sustainability of Continuous Improvement initiatives within Project Delivery
    • Implement online environments to support the orientation and continuous training
    • Collaborate with Project Directors and Project Managers to ensure alignment on process improvement initiatives
    • Prepare regular reports on process performance, improvement initiatives, and project outcomes for executive leadership
    • Builds collaboration across different functional areas with business partners.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field including, but not limited to: Life Sciences, or another relevant field is required.

    Experience and Skills

    Required:

    • Minimum of six (6) years of engineering related experience in a capital project environment.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of related project management.
    • Experience in data management and visualization systems such as Power BI and Tableau
    • Lean and/or Six-Sigma certification with proven record of continuous improvement.
    • Good knowledge of schedule development/management, financial assessments and budgeting.
    • Strong business insights, relationship building skills, and effective partner management to deliver results
    • Experience managing cross-functional workstreams, specifically across geographically dispersed teams
    • Ability to function effectively and multitask when presented with ambitious timelines.
    • Good listening and problem-solving skills when managing potential conflicts across functions.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent technical and analytical skills.

    Preferred:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP), FPX or equivalent certification.
    • Experience managing medium to large Supply Chain manufacturing related capital/expense projects.
    • Global experience of J&J with respect to E&PS and business partner interaction

    Other:

    • Language requirements – Proficiency in English (both oral and written)
    • Travel percentage – This position will require up to 25% domestic and international travel

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

    From $100,000 to $172,500

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
