    We are searching for the best talent for a Manager, Patient & Site Engagement (Oncology).

    This is a remote role available in all states within the United States. While specific cities are listed in the Locations section for reference, please note that they are examples only and do not limit your application. We invite candidates from any location to apply.

    Purpose:

    The Manager, Patient & Site Engagement (PSE) is responsible for executing programmatic recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies that ensure diverse participation in clinical trials. This role will develop and execute program- and trial-level PSE strategies, including site engagement, DEICT, and advocacy, in alignment with all applicable compliance policies and procedures. The manager will collaborate with local, site-facing roles, and partners in the Innovation & Advocacy teams within Global Development to shape fit-for-purpose strategies and tactics while gathering insights to inform and optimize these strategies.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Develop and execute program- and trial-level PSE strategies, including site engagement, DEICT, and advocacy, ensuring alignment with compliance policies and procedures.
    • Gather local insights to inform and optimize the development of global program- and trial-level PSE strategies.
    • Collaborate with site-facing roles and external stakeholders to gather insights that inform tailored strategies for patient engagement and diversity.
    • Continually evaluate and optimize PSE strategies and tactics to enhance effectiveness and adaptability.
    • Identify and own Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and tactics across programs and trials.
    • Manage program- and study-specific vendor activities to support recruitment and engagement initiatives.
    • Drive innovative strategies and novel tactics to build and maintain enduring relationships with sites and patient representative groups (e.g., Patient Advocacy Groups).
    • Create site-facing materials, train teams, and develop dashboards to track the progress of DICT initiatives and recruitment efforts.
    • Manage recruitment timelines to meet local submission processes while maintaining documentation of recruitment development and quality standards.
    • Support benchmarking and best practice sharing across clinical teams and external partners, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Mentor and support the onboarding of new team members, fostering employee engagement, inclusion, and adherence to Credo Behaviors.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred areas of study include Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy)
    Required:
    • Minimum of 6 years experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or related industries.
    • Proven performance focused on strategic patient engagement, recruitment, and diversity initiatives.
    • Strong clinical research operational knowledge and experience across multiple study phases and understanding of GCP.
    • Proficiency in analysis, strategy development and execution, customer and market knowledge, and digital marketing strategy.
    • Experience in creating new or improved customer experiences, particularly for underrepresented populations.
    • Ability to work effectively in a heavily matrixed organization, leading and influencing without direct authority.
    • Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and the ability to set priorities based on business analysis and customer research.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and networking skills, with the ability to connect across a global organization.
    • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to shape direction in new areas with limited guidance.
    • Travel up to 15% of the time, defined by business needs

    The anticipated base pay range for this position in the US is $115,000 to $197,800.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position in San Francisco Bay Area is $141,000 to $227,700.

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

    Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

    Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

    Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
    • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year
    • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
