Summary
Learn and practice the management skills necessary for the daily operation of a primary care/urgent care clinic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Become proficient in the essential duties and responsibilities for the Medical Receptionist, Lab Technician, X-Ray Technician, and Medical Assistant positions
· Become well versed in all training resources
· Complete Customer Service and Leadership training
· Complete Standard Operating Procedure training
· Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and state and federal rules and regulations.
· Shadow a Center Administrator to become proficient in the essential duties and responsibilities of a Center Administrator
· Ensure quality of patient care
· Regular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations
· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
· Participate in team meetings with other Center Administrators
· Participate in special projects as needed
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving are required. Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and achieve customer satisfaction
Education and Requirements
BS degree or minimum of 2 years of medical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Supervisory experience desired.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
Clinic setting. Requires extended periods of standing and walking (more than 6 hours a day). Ability to lift and carry loads up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Occasional stooping and kneeling. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Ability to use keyboard and mouse and view computer monitor.
