    Job Summary

    The Materials Handler conducts all activities associated with the kitting and movement of material into and out of the warehouse and other various stocking locations throughout the facility. This includes physical material movement, storage, issuance, cycle counting and kitting of work orders

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Prepare material for use in Clean Room environment- including parts cleaning, labeling, etc.
    • Perform all activities associated with the posting and completion of manual/electronic records
    • Handle all activities associated with maintenance of actual inventory balances
    • Perform activities in line with ensuring compliant material moves between departments
    • Perform daily cycle counts
    • Material distribution and issuance
    • Kitting material to production work orders
    • Organization of stockroom and PTO material and process

    Required experiences and qualifications

    • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
    • Experience: Entry level position, ideally but not required, 1 year in a stockroom or warehouse environment. Medical device experience preferred
    • Experience with using an MRP system such as SAP knowledge is preferred
    • Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
    • Ability to use a computer using various office tools.
    • Ability to perform basic math skills
    • Ability to multi task and prioritize duties
    • Possess social and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Knowledge of KanBan material flow. Experience preferred
    • Knowledge of environmentally controlled areas / clean room access protocols.

    Physical Demands

    The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, climb, stoop, kneel & crouch. The employee must frequently lift and or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and / or move up to 60 lbs with assistance.

    The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

    $20-22 hourly

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    · The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
