Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a highly skilled MedTech Plan Systems Lead to join our team at one of the following locations: Raritan/NJ, Raynham/MA, West Chester/PA, or Irvine/CA.
The MT Plan System Lead will report within the MT Advanced Planning Systems Center of Excellence (APS CoE) organization (part of JJ MT Supply Chain Center). The APS CoE is responsible to improve the maturity of core planning processes (demand planning, supply planning, production planning, S&OP, and analytics) by introducing innovative supply chain capabilities and technologies.
The MT Plan System Lead will focus on enablement of system based planning processes, support the base business in mapping processes into the respective systems and maintaining those capabilities through documentation, training, and troubleshooting. They is responsible for driving value realization of investments, prioritization and execution of all post-project enhancements and for ensuring the continuity of all system processes within its respective scope of plan platforms assigned.
The position in general has a global scope, with responsibilities for all Business Units within MT Supply Chain that are using the system platform assigned to the role. Primary focus though will be on CSS Advanced Planning Systems (Blue Yonder and Anaplan).
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development:
Shape plan systems improvement recommendations, aligned to MedTech process blue-prints and business requirements.
Partnering with global MT Supply Chain teams to identify, rationalize, and prioritize the desired systems enhancements intended to strengthen planning capabilities.
Partnering with JJT team to ensure alignment in business priorities.
Partnering with other supply chain functions (data, deployment, planning excellence, etc.) to build working relationships across all teams that directly or indirectly impact business systems performance.
Driving system process standardization in collaboration with the integrated business management team.
Capability development:
Support a global business process community aligned with other roles and responsibilities within the organization for the appropriate Plan function (Demand, Supply, etc.) and platform (OMP/Manugistics/Demantra/APO/ ...)
Establish a global Super User community with a common approach on establishing, assessing and improving business processes for the assigned platforms
•Drive a common governance process and collaboration model to continuously improve plan systems process maturity.
Drive specific global process improvements as well as continuous business process improvements with a focus on the platforms assigned
Facilitate system trainings and knowledge & experience sharing and drive awareness on business system process management.
Drive business adoption of system process improvements by defining and implementing appropriate organizational change and communications plans.
Operational effectiveness:
Ensuring all system processes are consistently meeting the needs of the MedTech Regional Supply Chain and Global Plan community, taking action to address break-fix issues while also leading efforts to improve business capabilities via system enhancements where applicable.
Collect business requirements for prioritized enhancements, and collaborate with key business partners to design and shape the appropriate business solution.
Communications – Provide proactive, concise, and pertinent communications to the Supply Chain community as they relate to project execution, business systems, change impacts, etc.
On an on-going basis, gauge the organizational “pulse” through various means (i.e. dialog, surveys, process walkthroughs, etc.) to identify improvement opportunities.
Organize / lead workshops to support investigation / alignment work.
Governing operational stability of legacy processes and tools to ensure appropriate business process execution where applicable.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required with preference in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or equivalent/Advanced degree/MBA preferred
PMP, FPX, Green Belt or equivalent certifications desired
APICS certification (CPIM, CFPIM or CIRM) preferred
Experience:
Minimum Three (3) years of relevant experience required
Experience in system or process change projects desired
Knowledge of value stream mapping
Knowledge, Skills and capabilities:
Strong grasp of planning processes and functions, with a solid understanding of end-to-end planning processes required.
Understanding of advanced planning systems, preferably OMP+, APO and Blue Yonder, Demantra or Anaplan.
Presentation skills with the ability to adjust to the audience (business vs. technical, professionals vs. sr. leadership) is required
Ability to translate complex topics into simple, workable solutions required.
Pro-active, can-do attitude. High level of personal initiative, ability to function autonomously and self-confidence.
Self-starter with ability to build and develop new relationships quickly, and influence/collaborate to get to desired results.
Big Picture orientation with Attention to Detail – align strategic and tactical
Results Orientation and ability to drive towards committed timelines.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint), knowledge of Microsoft Project & Visio preferred.

Location of Role: This position will preferably be based at a US location for MedTech Plan (Raritan/NJ, Raynham/MA, West Chester/PA, Irvine/CA).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
91,000 to 147,200
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
