Johnson & Johnson MedTech Supply Chain is recruiting Co-Ops to be based in Raritan, NJ or West Chester, PA to support the MedTech Procurement. Caring for the world, one person at a time has inspired and united the people of Johnson & The Co-Op will support the following Procurement activities across a variety of categories: Data gathering and analytics, Supplier Relationship Management, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation for MedTech.
The Co-Op will work closely with a Strategic Sourcing Manager in External Manufacturing or Direct Precision Materials to understand business needs and priorities and help implement robust category strategies that best meet the short- and long-term business needs of the Franchise. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Support strategic direction and execution in sourcing materials and components from External Manufacturers Data gathering and analytics Develop reports and data/financial reports to meet the needs of External Manufacturing Support the development and the presentation of business cases for External Manufacturing.
Conduct industry research and market surveys to stay current with best-in-class strategic sourcing practices and customer demands Local travel may be required
QUALIFICATIONS
Only students that are currently enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, or related business filed, and have completed their sophomore year or above will be considered
Minimum 3.0 GPA Candidate
Must be available to work 40 hours/week during the Co-Op session Track record of influencing and working collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
Able to manage multiple projects and initiatives with tight deadlines and work independently while demonstrating initiative
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require future sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1-B status) now or in the future
Strong Credo values Knowledge of Supply Chain, Procurement, and/or should-cost modeling
