The Medical Director Lung Cancer will be a member of the Medical Affairs team, leading the conduct of a clinical study with amivantamab. The Medical Director will work under the leadership of the Head, Lung Therapeutic Area, with the focus on leading a medical affairs study. In addition, they will collaborate with senior R&D Clinical Leaders of lung cancer asset teams, working closely towards the goal of advancing the science and development of amivantamab. The Medical Director will be a standing member of the Medical Affairs teams,
The role requires a high-performing and energetic individual who demonstrates outstanding scientific knowledge applicable to oncology clinical research and the highest personal and ethical standards. Experience in the conduct of highly complex studies is a key area of expertise needed for this individual.
The Medical Director will act as a liaison between the company, clinical study investigators, and other external lung cancer experts to support scientific advocacy and engagement of the medical community. Importantly, they will lead the cross functional study team, including protocol development and operational execution of this new lung cancer clinical study, working with R&D and regional Medical Affairs colleagues. The Medical Director will participate in the interpretation and reporting of the results of the research, including any appropriate health authority interaction.
The Medical Director Lung Cancer will also evaluate scientific information and new ideas to assist in identifying new research opportunities, external clinical research proposals involving company products, manuscripts that are being prepared for publication, and support other clinically related medical affairs activities across our lung cancer portfolio around our pursuit of building regimens towards cure.
