Sayre Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center which provides primary healthcare and mental health services to the underserved West Philadelphia Community. We are seeking a full-time Medical Director/Executive Medical Director.

Job Description:
As the Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and enhancing our clinical department. We are looking for an individual who not only possesses exceptional medical expertise but also embodies the values of compassion, commitment, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Team Development: Lead the recruitment, training, and development of clinical staff, fostering a culture of empathy, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Policy Development: Create and implement comprehensive clinical policies and protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and compliance.
Patient-Centered Care: Set an example by actively participating in patient care, addressing patient complaints, and ensuring all patients receive the utmost attention and respect.
Community Engagement: Build strong relationships within the community we serve, demonstrating a commitment to improving population health and understanding their unique needs.
Hands-On Approach: Be actively involved in day-to-day operations, including seeing patients, providing guidance to clinical staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Staff Supervision: Oversee and manage clinical staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure a harmonious and high-performing team.
Grant Involvement: Data Reporting on Grants to the state and federal government, grant preparation, writing, preparing progress reports and participating in staff time tracking for accurate usage of funds.
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Preferred Family/Internal Medicine and Board-certified in a relevant medical specialty.
Minimum 10 years of clinical experience.
Excellent Computer skills, extremely savvy and a quick learner on different types of software programs and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Proven leadership skills with experience in team development and management.
Strong policy development and implementation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare.
A commitment to community engagement and population health improvement.
Willingness to be actively involved in patient care and daily operations.

Pay: $210,000.00 - $280,000.00 per year
