Perform routine and complex clinical procedures with minimal to moderate supervision. Recognize unusual results or difficulties and make necessary simple corrections and adjustments. Bring complex problems to the immediate attention of the Supervisor. Responsible for quality, efficiency, and safety in the performance of technical work. Properly handles specimens, supplies and equipment. Provides care to patients of varying ages with age related needs.

Work Experience:
One year of recent Clinical Laboratory experience, preferred.
License/Registration/Certification:
Certified/registered as a Medical Laboratory Technician with A.S.C.P., N.C.A., or equivalent.
Education and Training:
Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an approved college or university, or equivalent such as military training as defined by 42 CFR493.1489
