About the Role: We’re on the lookout for a bubbly, upbeat Audiology Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Happy Ears Hearing Center in Gilbert, AZ! If you’re someone who loves helping others feel welcome and at ease, and you’ve got a knack for staying organized while keeping a positive attitude, this role is for you. As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in creating a fun, friendly, and compassionate environment, helping our patients feel comfortable and supported from the moment they walk in or call.

As the Audiology Patient Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our clinic, ensuring every patient feels heard, cared for, and excited to come back. From answering calls with a warm smile to supporting our team with smooth, organized clerical tasks, you’ll help keep our clinic running like a well-oiled machine while making sure our patients feel like part of the Happy Ears family.
You’ll Be Responsible For:
Greeting patients with a bright, friendly welcome that makes them feel instantly comfortable
Collaborating with audiologists, patients, and families to provide top-notch care
Creating personal goals for patients and cheering them on toward their progress
Maintaining patient information in our system with care and attention to detail
Handling patient intake forms and offering a little guidance with a smile if needed
Checking in hearing devices and ensuring they’re ready and perfect for appointments
Managing schedules with a cheerful attitude to keep things running smoothly
Answering phones with enthusiasm to schedule appointments and assist current patients
Collecting payments and providing receipts with a friendly approach
Helping maintain a tidy and welcoming office environment (including stocking the coffee/snack station!)
Performing basic tech duties like hearing aid cleanings, troubleshooting, and Bluetooth pairings
Performing other miscellaneous office duties to keep the flow of the day positive and productive
Qualifications:
Experience in a customer service or healthcare role
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with a smile
Quick decision-making skills in fast-paced situations
An empathetic and caring demeanor – you truly want to make a difference in our patients' lives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bonus points for experience with hearing loss or working in an audiology setting
