    Providing more than 65,000 transports annually, Metro West interfaces with dispatchers, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, emergency nurses and physicians; all working together to provide positive clinical outcomes while servicing the community.

    Oregon’s most trusted EMS provider since 1953, Metro West delivers advanced life support and medical transportation services in Douglas, Roseburg, Washington, Clatsop, Coos, and Lincoln Counties in Oregon and Pacific County in Washington and proud to hold the title as the largest non-emergency ALS provider in the Oregon and Southwest Washington.

    The Healthcare Transport Drivers primary duties include transporting patients in the busy and growing wheelchair department and loading and unloading patients as they go to and from medical appointments and outings.

    Other requirements include:

    A minimum 21 years of age
    Satisfactory criminal background record
    Meet drug test requirements
    Valid OR or WA driver's license and satisfactory driving record. No speeding infractions greater than 15 mph over the speed limit within the previous 5 years
    CPR certification
    High school diploma or equivalent
    Effective verbal and written communication
    Able to lift up to 50 lbs
