Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nurse Aide II- Emergency Department- Full-Time - Nights - NSG-Emergency Department - Full-Time -
In this role, the successful candidate Under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse assists the nursing and medical staff by performing identified service and established procedures to provide for the care comfort and safety of patients Maintains patient care areas in a clean and orderly condition; prepares equipment and supplies according to established procedure and transports patients as needed Participates in the orientation process of new employees

To qualify you must have a High School diploma or GED BLS certification AHA only and first aid training De escalation training on job EMT certificate or prior hospital/sub acute experience or be a nursing student Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with patients and their families that demonstrate recognition of cultural diversity Basic analytical skills in order to gather data complete comparisons interpret and report outcomes to the nurse or document on the medical record Must have excellent customer service and telephone skills Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

Long Island Community Hospital provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $48,672.00 - $48,672.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Required Experience
The applicant will hold a MFA, Ph.D., D.M.A., EdD, or similar terminal degree, have a history of successful applied voice studio teaching, experience teaching pedagogy courses, and a record of scholarship in the form of presentations, workshops, and/or publications.
Required Experience:
1. 10+ years experience teaching private voice lessons in an academic and/or independent studio setting
2. Have a record of presentations for national conferences and professional organizations and/or publications in books and/or journals
3. A collaborative spirit and willingness to support multiple pedagogical approaches, while creating a brave space for challenging discussions; and
4. Ability to guide doctoral dissertations/final projects.
We are especially interested in meeting candidates with strengths in any of the following areas:
1. 10+ years experience teaching CCM styles
2. Experience teaching anatomy and physiology
3. Ability to teach acoustics and applied studio technology (VoceVista, etc.)
4. Experience with live sound and/or recording studio technology
