Assumes responsibility for recording the details of reported Epic issue, and working with the IS Epic Analysts to solve the issue if assistance is needed; responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for Epic support; and facilitates practice model education and communication. Shift: 9am - 6pm CST Monday- Friday with occasional weekend days Education Required -nbsp;high school diploma or equivalent Preferred - bachelors degree Work Experience Required -nbsp;None Preferred - 3 years related experience, experience with Epic Certifications Preferred -nbsp;Epic Certification nbsp; Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) * Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information. * Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally. * Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard. * Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to individuals with varying levels of education.

    • Excellent customer service and organization skills. * Ability to work variable hours, including nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Duties * Provides operational and technical expertise to Epic end users and provides first-level contact and problem resolution for all issues.
    • Provides accurate and timely logging of problems and resolution in the LDSD system. * Escalates issues to the IS Epic Analysts when necessary.
    • Responds to end-user inquiries regarding the status of tickets entered and performs follow-up. * Provides clear and timely verbal and written feedback of issues to team members and leadership. * Understands ambulatory and inpatient clinical and operational workflows to support Epic users. * Responds to end-user inquiries regarding the status of tickets entered and performs follow-up. * Other duties as assigned. nbsp; Other related duties as required.nbsp; The above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
