Job Description

Under general supervision, prepares, sterilizes, stores and issues medical/surgical instruments, supplies and equipment in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Performs and/or assists with decontamination and distribution of flexible endoscopes and related items. Provides technical support for endoscopic procedures performed in the operating room. Maintains clinical scope equipment under the responsibility of or in agreement with Perioperative Services.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of patient care experience required.
• One (1) year Central Sterile Processing Technician experience preferred.

• Pay Range: $20.47-$28.64
