    Pharmacy Technician II (Investigational Drug)
    Full-Time - Rotating
    Baltimore, MD

    We are looking for talented professionals to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

    • Fills medication orders, maintains appropriate stock of pharmaceutical supplies, delivers medications to, and returns medications from nursing units.
    • Performs independent tasks, higher risk patient population and specialized complex pharmacy services.
    • Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot issues both technical and clinical at a higher level.
    • Technicians at this level must be proactive and apply critical thinking skills and are able to work independently and achieve optimal results.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration is required.
    • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program approved by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is preferred.
    • Minimum of 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician required.
    • National Pharmacy Technician Board Certification within 6 months of hire is preferred.

    Specialty Posting Recommendations (ex. Nursing Spectrum): Need requires at least 2 year in-patient pharmacy technician experience. IV preparation certification preferred
