Watch this Video Clip Introducing our CEO, Dan Gideon Pine Creek Medical Center The Position: Accounts Payable Specialist - Non-exempt The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring expenses are controlled by receiving processing and verifying and reconciling invoices according to established Pine Creek Medical Center (PCMC) procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. This includes communicating (verbally and in written format) with vendors, employees and others in a professional and courteous manner. Essential Job Functions: * Prioritizes invoices based upon payment terms and discount potential * Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. * Maintains paper and electronic files and documentation thoroughly and accurately * Processes check requests * Reconciles vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies * Responds to vendor inquiries timely and professionally * Accurately matches purchase orders to invoices and receipts (three-way matching), up to 100 line items * Interacts with team members and vendors in a professional manner * Perform mathematical computations such as percentages, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately * Assists in the monthly and annual close cycles

• Supports Leadership with daily, weekly, monthly reporting needs, as required * Demonstrates regular, predictable attendance * Perform other duties as assigned * Responds to initial vendor inquiries within 2 hours of receipt * Responds to internal emails/inquires within 1 hour of receipt * Purchase orders processed (vouchered) by close of next business day * Vendor contacted within 3 business days for Invoice discrepancies identified * Vendor statements reconciled within 7 business days * Committed to the Accounts Payable team goals * Supports Leadership Qualifications * Education: * High school diploma * College courses in accounting or finance, preferred * Experience/Skills: * Meditech (ERP system) * 3 years or more of accounts payable experience (moderate to high-volume) Basic Excel experience (examples include, copy/paste, formatting, freeze pane, sort, filter, insert and delete rows and columns, data entry contiguous vs, non-contiguous, summation, simple formulas, number and date formats, terminology such as rows/columns) * Highly detailed and organized * Avid note-taker * Effective communicator with good written and verbal communication skills
