    Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a member of Johnson& Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting two  BioResearch Quality and Compliance Fellows. Through various opportunities and in direct contact with universities, Janssen seeks fresh talent with self-motivation to gain industry insights.

     

    The BioResearch Quality & Compliance (BRQC) team is a key strategic partner supporting global research and development at Janssen. BRQC proactively protects patient safety and company assets by leveraging data sciences, automation and innovative quality oversight in partnership with Research & Development and Medical Safety enabling key business partners to more rapidly and effectively develop and deliver innovative solutions to patients.

     

    POSITION COMPONENTS:

     

    The BRQC Fellowship Program is a two-year experiential program designed to provide hands-on experience within the pharmaceutical industry that will enable fellows to interact with BRQC colleagues. The fellowship program will provide a broad understanding of the global development process and quality strategies and processes, while gaining hands-on experience through participating on cross-functional teams.

     

    During the fellowship program, the fellow is expected to support the following key attributes of our corporate objectives:

    The fellow will be required to complete a project for presentation to the BRQC Senior Leadership Team and other internal stakeholders. They will attend cross-functional meetings in support of their roles and responsibility during their tenure in Janssen.

     

     

    The BRQC Fellow will:

    The fellow will support quality teams within BRQC in coordination, review and preparation of necessary documentation in support of the quality management system in support of the research & development organization. In addition, the fellow will be provided a rotational experience throughout each functional pillar of BRQC. The fellow will gain an introduction to the different aspects of each quality team, provide a fresh perspective on key initiatives and support the always changing quality landscape.

     

    The rotational experience will gain exposure across sectors and functions, including:

    • Compliance Strategy & Analytics
    • Governance & Operations Management
    • Quality Analytics
    • Quality Assurance
    • Quality Management
    • Quality Management Systems Oversight
    • Quality Planning & Strategy

     

    Additionally, the fellow will develop leadership behaviors and professional skills through selected programs to enable becoming a leader in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Qualifications

    CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS:

    • PharmD degree (Must have been obtained or the applicant must currently be a candidate for their degree to be completed by date of hire to be considered)
    • Ability to critically evaluate data from multiple sources (clinical trials, literature, etc.)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate across teams
    • Detail oriented, organized, self-starter with a demonstrated track record of achievements
    • Fluent in written and spoken English and a working knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
    • A strong alignment with ethical principles in Our Credo and a desire to be vital within a company where people are dedicated to patients
    • The drive to make a difference in global healthcare is essential
    • Position will be in Raritan, NJ and will require up to 10% domestic travel
