    Job Description:

    Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Process Technician to join our Manufacturing team located in onsite in Danvers, MA.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

    • First point of contact for production associates when potential non-conformances are identified, or when the production associate has questions regarding specification uncertainties

    • Subject Matter Expert who will drive decisions on further processing (accept, routine-rework, direct scrap) using the documentation and standards released for the process (inspection checklists, work instructions)

    • Ability to make decisions based on approved documents (ICL, WI) (no statement based solely on subjective opinion/experience)

    • Facilitate processing questionable material in and out of the assigned areas, including segregation, labeling, communication, and documentation of material movements

    • Documentation of material movement activities in ERP / MES systems

    • Key participation in the material disposition process

    • Preparation of QN/NC records in the quality systems in consultation with designated engineering teams

    • Perform randomized in-process inspections to identify potential quality issues associated with released processes

    • Documentation and report of any deviation from the standard processes

    • Leverage findings / observations to inform ICL / WI improvements initiated by way of engineer collaboration

    • Represent voice of customer from the shop floor; collaborate with production and process engineering team to ensure opportunities for improvement are prioritized and implemented

    • Record and analyze quality KPIs to proactively identify process trends

    • Supports leadership team to establish quality standards successfully

    Job Qualifications:

    • Technical education in production environment is a minimum requirement
    • Proven experience working in a production environment
    • Strong knowledge and working capability of EtQ Non-Conformance – Quality System
    • Strong knowledge and working capability of material requirements planning (MRP), ERP and MES Systems preferably SAP S4Hana and Camstar/OpCenter
    • Deep process subject matter expertise or ability and willingness to learn process content in details
    • Deep understanding and practicing of GMP/GDP (“Leading by example”)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication skills.

    Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
