As part of our Provider Services group, the quality of support you deliver will directly translate into better care for their patients This is no small opportunity. This is where you can bring your compassion for others while building your career. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 5900 Parkwood Place, Dublin, OH 43016

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Place outreach calls to network provider offices, conducting between 75 to 100 calls per day, to validate current Demographic data
• Complete data updates while on the phone with the provider office, or via spreadsheets of data, or returned faxes
• Deliver information and questions to provider in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their office staff
• Complete provider demographic updates in applicable UHC systems that feed to online provider directories
• Manage follow-up activities for timely inventory management of work in queue
• Respond to inbound calls, returned faxes and emails from providers with a sense of urgency
• Must meet established quality and production metric targets

This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll interact with providers with the intent to develop a relationship with them. Within a high volume setting, you'll need to develop knowledge of our various products and multiple levels of benefits within each product in order to best assist our providers/customers. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma / GED (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft office suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
• 6+ months or experience in a healthcare or corporate environment
• 6+ months of data entry experience

SOFT SKILLS:

• Experience completing data entry while on the phone with customers
• Experience working in a metric-driven production environment
• Ability to drive phone conversations towards a successful conclusion
