    As a Radiology Tech at Dayton Children's Hospital, you will be encouraged to:

    • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

    • Ensure the safety and care of our patients during radiographic procedures.

    • Strive to meet departmental goals concerning patient satisfaction, patient registration accuracy standards, and Cardiology EKG QA/QC.

    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to successfully implement patient care plans.

    • Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures strictly adhering to hospital protocols.

    • Recognize and advocate for each patient being an individual with specific healthcare needs and provide detailed, respectful care affirming the patient’s right to make decisions regarding their medical care.

    • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging by following proven techniques.

    • Provide compassionate support and clear instructions to patients and their families.

    • Continuously monitor and adjust radiologic equipment to ensure efficient performance.

    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

    Department Specific Job Details:

    Up to a $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS

    Shift:

    • Full Time
    • 2nd Shift
    • South Campus
    • Every other weekend, holiday rotation required

    Must be willing to cover all locations - Main, South and Off-sites.

    • Huber Heights is open from 830a-9p,
    • South(Springboro) and Main Campus are 24/7
    • Springfield is open 830a-7p
    • Beavercreek is open 830a-6p
    • Kettering, Child Health Pavilion and Troy are open 830a-530p.

    Certifications:

    REQUIRED:

    • Associate's degree in radiologic technology
    • 1-2 years experience
    • Licensure with ARRT and ODH
    • CPR certification within 1 month from start of employment, computer skills and excellent communication skills
    • Be willing to cross-train into CT; CT license not required .
