Recovery Coach
Do you have lived experience with substance use recovery? Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals on their journey to recovery? We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Coach to join our dynamic team at Riverside Outpatient Center at Somerville. As a Recovery Coach, you will be at the heart of our interdisciplinary Outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) team. You'll serve as an advocate, mentor, and personal guide for individuals navigating their recovery journey. Your lived experience will be invaluable as you:

Required Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in the English language)
Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a team of staff
Must have a valid driver's license, regular access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle, as needed
Required Experience
Lived experience of recovery in the context of substance use and mental health
At least 1 year of related work experience
Must have either a college degree or a high school diploma/GED
Completion of an EOHHS supported Recovery Coach training and Certified Peer Specialist training, or commitment to becoming trained within 3 months of hire for RC and within 1 year for CPS
Certification as a Recovery Coach required or must commit to obtaining CARC within 1.5 years of initial training or hire, whichever occurs last
