HR Assistant Location: St. Barnabas Hospital Department: Human Resources Hours: Full-Time Qualifications SBH Health system seeks a Human Resources Assistant to join the HR team.The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the department including but not limited to customer support and reception services, telephone coverage, filing, faxing, sorting and distribution of mail, scheduling appointments, creating documents and responding to inquiries over the telephone and in person.The primary focus of this job will be the management of the filing system and file rooms. The ideal candidate will have at least Associates Degree in Human Resources Management or related field and a minimum of one year of experience providing general administrative support including filing, telephone coverage and general receptionist functions in a human resources environment. Candidates with 2 years of experience in a similar capacity will be considered. Healthcare experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and Powerpoint. Typing Speed 25WPM, Bilingual Spanish preferred. Familiarity with an HRIS system preferred. Must be able to lift boxes up to 50lbs.
