    What will you be doing?

    This team member will have direct access to our senior business leaders to develop strategies and gather content for developing amazing experiences for our partners, customers and employees. The role is equal parts creative, collaborative, and revenue-minded, with the flexibility to slide from setting strategy to executing on the ground with our field sales and team members. In this position, you will work closely with sales and marketing teams to create awareness and demand generation programs to achieve pipeline and revenue goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver exceptional company and customer event experiences, in partnership and in alignment with the vision set by Sales and Marketing Leadership teams
    • Utilizes research, data, and insights to inform the selection of, and strategy for, all events and sponsorships, in alignment with the vision set by Sales and Marketing Leadership teams
    • Event examples include local/regional trade shows, hyper-local customer appreciation events, networking events and large receptions, thought leadership seminars, owned event series, etc.
    • Drives the planning, coordination, documentation and execution of events
    • Demonstrate success in event management and project management
    • Works horizontally with Marketing peers to influence messaging and articulate World Wide Technology’s capabilities, differentiating value, and key benefits for the Vertical/Region
    • Creates experiences that engage with customers every step of their journey: pre, during and post event, deepening consideration and intent at every stage
    • Additional multi-channel touchpoints, developed in partnership with Marketing peers, may include digital advertising, website content, email campaigns, OOH, PR, event signage/collateral, social posts, community engagement, lead acquisition, etc.
    • Understand business priorities and identify process improvements to create efficiency
    • Develops and manages relationships with key sales and other marketing stakeholders that are internal clients of the Sales Marketing Team. This may include Sales leadership, Services leadership, Engineering leadership, and other key executives
    • Builds strong relationship with and collaborate with OEMs for the purpose of obtaining funding for campaigns
    • Assist in the planning, coordination, documentation, execution, and purchasing of promotional materials, managing requirements with creative services department
    • Develops budgets, forecasts and reports out on budgetary matters
    • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients, and using the trends to make strategic recommendations
    • Campaign ROI analysis and reporting 3rd party vendor management
    • Onsite management of sales activities and events
    • Travel as necessary to execute marketing initiatives (Up to 30% travel)

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required

    • 3-5 years Marketing experience preferred

    • Field marketing, corporate travel/internal conferences or tradeshow/conference planning and execution experience, preferred

    • Solid understanding of marketing principles

    • Salesforce knowledge a plus

    • Excellent oral and written communications skills

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Project management experience with ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects

    • Strong relationship building skills
