Animal Medical Center is looking for part-time professional groomer for Saturdays in our grooming department. The schedule would be Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF A PROFESSIONAL GROOMER? As a professional groomer you will continue to establish excellence in pet healthcare by:

Perform grooms based on the breed and client specifications

Be an advocate for pet health by ensuring they are healthy (ear infections, lumps noted, etc.)

Use low-stress handling techniques when grooming

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED? At Animal Medical Center we strive to exceed our client's expectations by providing excellent service. Skills you would need for this position are:

Willing to learn and grow in the grooming department

Excellent customer service skills both written and verbal

Love people as much as you love pets

Able to stand for long periods of time, be able to lift up to 50 pounds and more assisted

At least one year of professional grooming experience is required. Grooming portfolio will be viewed at interview.

WHAT OTHER THINGS DO I NEED TO KNOW?

All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
