Reconcile vendor accounts and monitor flow of documents to ensure timely settlement of transactions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Review and determine appropriateness of various documents related to vendor set-up and requests for payment. * Research, code, and obtain approvals on invoices submitted from vendors. * Accurately key accounts payable related data into systems. * Direct documents to proper channels for workflow and review. * Maintain accounts payable files; ensure proper linking of documents for viewing and retrieval. * Monitor vendor W9 submission, validate against government databases, and manage the vendor master file. * Interact with vendors and all levels of employees, primarily by phone and email, to identify and resolve any discrepancies and ensure appropriate processing. * Respond to inquiries in a timely and appropriate manner. * Monitor accounts, identify potential issues and escalate before problems arise. * Maintain a high rate of accuracy and vendor satisfaction through professional quality service. * Provide documents for audits. * Audit and verify purchase card transactions. * Assist with special projects or specific duties to support organization priorities. QUALIFICATIONS * High School diploma or equivalent required. CAPA preferred. * Minimum of two years experience in accounts payable processing in a multi-unit, high volume business environment * Ability to research, analyze and reconcile accounts and resolve accounts payable related issues. * Basic knowledge of computer applications and data input. * Very organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately produce at a high volume. * Excellent office skills, with ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. * Extremely dependable with a strong work ethic.
