Job Description:
We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager, Medical Science Liaison (Ottava Robotics) to support the Ottava platform. This position will be fully on-site and must be located within a commutable distance of Santa Clara, CA or Cincinnati, OH. Relocation assistance is available to qualified candidates.
Purpose : In this role you will driving key initiatives in research, publications, medical education, and field intelligence between our J&J MedTech Surgery Scientific Affairs team and the academic/non-academic surgical community. This is a critical role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals, providing scientific expertise, supporting voice of customer efforts and identifying gaps in medical research and assist in defining Medical Affairs Strategy. You will participate and/or support special projects including: clinical trials, internal and external education, publication planning and execution. Your primary objective will be to bridge the gap between Johnson and Johnson and our surgeon users by maintaining thorough knowledge of our robotics platforms, as well as the current literature and data in robotic surgery.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $137,000 to $235,750 based on experience. The anticipated base pay range for this position in the Santa Cara market is $168,000 to $271,400 based on experience. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
