    We are searching for the best talent for Senior Receiving Clerk to be in Warsaw, Indiana.

    JOB SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for the tactical execution of activities common to a distribution center including but not limited to inventory movement, processing receipts, regulatory compliance, quality compliance, general housekeeping, inventory accuracy, consumables inventory, safety compliance, coordinating dock activity as needed, and resolving receipt discrepancies. In addition, this position identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity as well as the execution of these improvements. This position will also play a role in system/process improvement projects which will include UAT/FAT testing, creating test scripts, creating, reviewing, and editing work instructions as needed.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

    • Error resolution and troubleshooting inventory/order issues
    • Inventory management
    • Receiving and creating material inbounds
    • Documenting and quarantining product as needed
    • Inventory movement in and out of the distribution center through SAP
    • Monitor receiving discrepancies by documenting and maintaining an error log
    • Assist in the management of receiving discrepancies and vendor errors through verbal and written communication
    • Coordinates and facilitates inventory movement to the next appropriate area based on quality and regulatory restrictions
    • Tag product with appropriate label
    • Move product physically and systemically to next function
    • Purchase and maintain consumables inventory at a prescribed level
    • Use of standard equipment including but not limited to pallet jacks, carts, scales, scanners, computer terminals, and automated systems
    • Take part in housekeeping, 5’s activities, operator asset care and continuous improvement initiatives
    • Adherence to regulatory and quality standards is the responsibility of everyone. These standards include those prescribed by the associated governing bodies worldwide as well as internal standards set forth by management
    • Comply with all PPE, safety, and environmental standards defined as necessary by site management or government entities
    • Train and instruct others as required

    SECTION 3: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

    • A minimum of a high school education, GED, or equivalent, Preferred Associate’s Degree or equivalent education/experience
    • Two years’ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS

    • The ability to read, comprehend, and apply processes and required procedures to successfully complete job tasks
    • Demonstrate proficiency in multiple primary and support tasks
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with all interactive groups
    • Ability to effectively communicate with others through multiple methods
    • The ability to use and operate computer systems, handheld technology, and automated equipment
    • Familiarity with computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite, SAP experience is preferred
