Supported Employment Specialist Sequoia Mental Health Services 11 reviews - Beaverton, OR 97007 Sequoia Mental Health Services is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who have a passion for supporting adults with severe and persistent mental illness, exploring life goals and turning those goals into employment opportunities. The Supported Employment Specialist is responsible for all areas of employment including career exploration, employment preparation, job development, assistance with finding employment, job retention and, referrals to Vocational Rehabilitation. This position requires the SE Specialist to spend 65% of their time in the community working with clients in areas of skills training, job development and job retention. On a weekly basis a minimum of six employer contacts need to be made to cultivate and develop relationships with local employers to help educate and destigmatize mental illness and how individuals on their caseload can help their companies expand and grow. The Supported Employment Specialist works closely with the three clinical teams and other staff (clinical, case management and A&D) to provide comprehensive, coordinated care.
