    Job Description:

    Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Site Facilities Manager to be located in Wilson, NC.

    While this role will ultimately support the site operations located in Wilson NC, this role will also be required to support the project phase across both design & construction. For the project design phase, the role will require you to be present with our design teams in the Greater Philadelphia region up to 20%. Once the design phase is completed, this role will support the construction and operational start-up of the site. For this, you will be required to be on site in Wilson, NC. Based on your current location the hiring team will work with you to determine travel and relocation arrangements. In steady state, we expect travel to be 10%.

The new facility will expand production of innovative biologic medicines in areas including oncology, immunology, and neuroscience.     As the Site Facilities Manager, you will own overall accountability for driving Enterprise Facilities Management (EFM) capabilities within one assigned site facility while providing oversight of any facilities management outsourcing partners (including, but not limited to: Physical Plant Maintenance Group, Food Services, Security, Housekeeping, Mailroom, Pest Control, etc.). This position serves as a single point of accountability and will deliver a quality, safe, compliant, and productive workplace environment within the site, with a high-touch customer service orientation. Also, responsible to support the Site Business Continuity and support the Strategic projects and Capital Investment plans.

    A suitable candidate for this role will have experience in facilities envelope maintenance operations, soft services and space management for manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations.

    Key relationships include managing outsourced vendors and establishing clear lines of engagement with site-level business customers, Regional and Sub-Regional FM leadership, the Global Workstreams Organization, and select key Support Partners (e.g., Finance, MAM, IT, HR, EHS, GHS and / or Procurement).

    This position reports directly to the Sub-Regional Lead role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive FM focus and capabilities within site for Soft Services
    • Responsible for the Department Operating Expenses and Capital Forecast, providing update during the various revisions thru the year
    • Serve as the primary point of contact to site-level business customers for Facilities quality, safety, compliance, and performance
    • Lead complex relationships with outsourcing partners at site level, as applicable.
    • Ensure compliance with external and internal requirements. Ensure site facilities are compliant with good commercial, laboratory and manufacturing practices, and other regulations
    • For facilities systems, programs and equipment, manages any regulatory compliance requests including audits and inspections
    • Share E&PS key performance metrics, benchmarks, and methodologies to establish a high performance and continuous improvement culture
    • Implement and maintain business continuity plans for facilities services
    • Support Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects
    • Develops, maintains and ensure adherence to Department SOP’s, PM’s and training programs.

    • Attend and/or chair customer and FM Facilities level governance forums escalating governance issues as required
    • Coordinate inspections on site, as needed
    • Identify and apply E&PS programs and methodologies to generate savings and optimize the site and business performance
    • Responsible for site specific data and information to support regional and global metrics, programs and performance analysis
    • Manage occupancy, utilization, and spatial data.
    • Recognize and communicate emerging site issues to the business and to the Sub-Regional lead
    • Adapt emerging standard methodologies and industry innovations

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • University/ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or Architecture is preferred

    Required:

    • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience (Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Administration, Soft Services, in a GMP product manufacturing plant environment)
    • Budget/financial leadership skills
    • Experience Managing Pest Control Programs
    • Previous experience managing in-house contractors
    • Good people management skills and strong technical skills and the ability to work well under pressure
    • Strong communication skills both written and oral, including presentation to small and large groups of people.

    Preferred:

    • Demonstrated knowledge in Soft Services (Security, Cafeteria, Building Maintenance, Housekeeping)
    • Documented success achieving project goals
    • Compliance Knowledge in EHS, Food Safety, Factory Mutual, and other regulatory standards/regulations.
    • Certifications (e.g., IFMA, CEM, etc.)
    • Strong record of local collaboration ensuring completion of projects and people development
    • Ability to focus strategically while maintaining a tactical focus

    Other:

    • Up to 10% domestic travel is required
