    We have multiple teams across MedTech Surgery, that are searching for the best talent for their Software Engineering Internship positions, based in Santa Clara, CA.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Working with software and other specialists as part of a focused cross-functional team developing software for medical robotic applications.
    • Develop software prototypes in C++ and test on the robotic system.
    • Participate in design discussions and code reviews.
    • Learn processes through training to support compliance.
    • Be responsible for features from design, to implementation, testing and finally, support.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with multiple teams to develop software.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • BS/MS Computer Science, Computer Science/Engineering student or equivalent.
    • Knowledge of C++ Programming.
    • Understanding of object oriented programming.
    • Knowledge of data structures and algorithmic complexity.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications.

    Preferred:

    • Knowledge of real-time software applications and RTOS.
    • People with a keen interest in medical technology, robots or software development.
    • Anyone dedicated to continual growth and improvement.
    • Knowledge of Linux, QNX, or Python is helpful.

    Other:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must have work authorization in the United States at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

    The anticipated base pay for this position for candidates in a Robotics discipline is Sophomore $31.00/hr, Junior $34.50/hr, Senior $38.00/hr, Masters $45.00/hr, PhD $59.00/hr.

    The anticipated base pay for this position for candidates in other Engineering disciplines (not Robotics) is Sophomore $28.50/hr, Junior $30.00/hr, Senior $32.00/hr, Masters $38.00/hr, PhD $42.50/hr.

    This position is ineligible for severance.
