Asbury Methodist Village is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team. Our speech therapists provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and support to our residents in a caring, professional environment. This position offers flexibility with hours based on patient needs and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy and interventions to improve residents' communication and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and therapy sessions.
• Participate in care conferences and provide updates on patients’ status and progress.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing techniques.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state licensure in Maryland.
• Previous experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or CCRC setting is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
