Staff Clinician - Life Skills
Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as a Staff Clinician for our amazing Life Skills Center! The Life Skills Program is a highly structured and group-based supportive therapeutic day program for adolescents, ages 12-18 years, who are experiencing mental health challenges that impact their functioning at home, school, and community. Within this setting, staff and youth work collaboratively together to foster an environment where all are seen and accepted for who they are.
The program offers therapeutic groups and activities based on best practices to help teens gain insight into their emotions and thinking patterns, develop more effective ways of coping, and improve their self-esteem.
In this vital role, the Staff Clinician will be responsible for the assessment, treatment planning, case management, family counseling and service coordination of assigned adolescents as well as leading a variety of treatment groups. The Staff Clinician participates in the development and maintenance of a healthy milieu and collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team in the provision of critical services for teens and families.
Our program offers a nurturing environment that encourages creativity, mutual respect, and opportunities for learning and growth. Candidates must enjoy working with adolescents and be a proactive team member.
