Job Summary: Under the direction of the EMR Program Director, the EMR Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the SBHG EMR ticket system and associated EMR management for all programs. The EMR Specialist is also responsible for the management of all EMR Program Operations meeting tasks as assigned. In addition, the EMR Specialist is responsible for EMR system testing, setups, and related research. This position may be assigned to implement new or expanded EMR functionality or programs. Position involves some travel, including occasional extended periods supporting new program or EMR functionality start up, including off-site meetings and trainings. This position requires working outside of regular business hours, including, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, and some holidays, as needed. Essential Duties: * Manages all SBHG and MSO program EMR software help tickets, routing complex requests to team members as needed. * Manages after hours EMR support needs, including working outside of regular business hours, including, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, and some holidays, as needed. * Frequent interaction with clinical staff to identify and resolve user issues and system problems to ensure effective implementation and utilization of EMR. * Prepares screen shots and/or clear explanations of problem(s), and sends to software vendor via vendor help ticket system as needed. * Assists with EMR and Active Directory account setup and configuration, and coordination with QA and program staff, as needed for all audit related requests and support. * Enrolls new EMR users into the EMR, including coordination of e-signature and EMR training completion with HR and programs, and Initial assignment and monitoring of EMR user security and privileging levels. * Supports EMR upgrade and patch research, testing, and planning. * Works with HR to assist in the coordination of new hire orientation, including staff e-signature capture for credential changes, trainings, and other tasks as needed to support staff access and use of the EMR system. * Coordinates the use and setup of the EMR training environment via SharePoint calendar scheduling, and coordination with HR and programs. * Communicates all unusual/significant EMR or IT system issues, themes, or program staff concerns, to his/her supervisor and/or EMR Team in a clear and timely manner. Minimum Qualifications : Education * High School Diploma required. * Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience * Two (2) years experience in a quality assurance role or Two (2) years direct treatment services delivery preferred. * Experience with the use of electronic medical records software required. License or Certification * Valid California Driver's License required. * Completion of the myEvolv System Administrator Certification within one year of date of hire, or Three (3) years of experience working in a system administrator capacity for the myEvolv EMR application required.
