Job Description
Under the direction of the appropriate laboratory management and/or the clinical director, performs and develops testing for the clinical laboratory. Ensures that efficient and effective work process use and procedures are followed utilizing regulatory and safety requirements. Performs patient testing as requested by the administrative or assistant director. Serves as a technical resource for the department.
Qualifications
** Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Basic Sciences, or another related field is required. ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
** Experience:** Three years of relevant experience is required. Specialty certification in an area of expertise or a Master’s degree is preferred.
