Driver - Class A CDL License Required- Hillsboro, OR- Part Time- 24-30 hours per month-Evening Hours
Onsite Dental is seeking a Driver to join our team. The Driver will be responsible for the maintenance and delivery of all vehicle and portable assets within their assigned territory. Experience with driving RVs and having experience with hydraulics is a plus.
The Driver operates the company's mobile practices, ensuring they arrive on schedule to all destinations. As part of the Onsite team, the driver may interact with vendors, employees, independent contractors, clients and possibly patients and must represent the company professionally at all times.
The Driver must be flexible in taking direction from many different people and must be willing to help out with additional work as necessary. The Driver must also maintain a safe driving record and operate the company's vehicles in a safe manner at all times. The Driver does not directly manage other staff. Finally the Driver performs all duties as assigned, both included and not included in this position description.
Role Accountability & Key Responsibilities
- Follow schedules in making sure that mobile practices and portable assets arrive at destination on time; work with site team to ensure that the mobile practice is properly outfitted with all necessary supplies
- Execute regularly scheduled preventative maintenance for company fleet and other assets under direction of logistics team; report any problems to proper parties as soon as possible
- Help site and event teams with miscellaneous tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Ensure proper record keeping of all records related to company fleet, reporting to Director of Operations as required
Role Qualifications
- Education equivalent to a high school diploma
- One (1) year of experience working in transportation
- Valid Class A CDL license required and must be maintained
- Ability to solve problems by applying basic knowledge and performing independent research as applicable
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, self-motivation, organization, and resourcefulness while maintaining a reputation through proven action of being team oriented and willing to assist where/when needed
- Ability to prioritize duties under competing priorities
- Proven skills with mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting
- Experience with driving RV's and having some experience with hydraulics are a plus
- Three (3) years of verified tractor trailer experience is required
- Must have an accident-free driving record for the past three (3) years
