- Gainesville, FL $11.27 an hour Responsible for maintaining adequate,
non-expired product and supplies in clinical and non-clinical
par-serviced areas. Utilize Point of Use (POU) inventory system to
accurately inventory, replenish and maintain supplies in all
par-serviced areas. Perform quality assurance audits on par locations to
meet The Joint Commission (TJC) standards at all times. Serves as an
active team participant minimizing overstock outdates and stock outs by
communicating with leadership. Utilizes Supply Chain Services best
practice processes established and communicated by department leadership
to carry out job functions. Serves as Customer Service Representative as
needed. In Central Distribution, assists in maintaining and distributing
critical care equipment (crash cart, airway box, etc.). For OR
Materials, manage FDA regulated tissue tracking for supply chain of
custody; and maintain and distribute procedural case carts for
perioperative services. Assist Supply Chain Core Services with supply
backorder and recall management. Works in various hospital locations to
include in-patient and out-patient clinical departments, procedural
areas, any other area as determined by Supply Chain and hospital
leadership. Job Opening Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated
competence in Microsoft Office required. Two years of healthcare supply
chain experience preferred or greater than three years of non-healthcare
supply chain experience preferred. Ability to understand and utilize
inventory and distribution of materials management system, PeopleSoft
experience preferred. Experience working with a Point of Use (POU)
system, OptiFlex experience preferred. Ability to independently lift 20
pounds, ambulate, reach, bend, sit, squat and stand. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills required. Works flexible,
rotating shifts as needed. On-call required. Motor Vehicle Operator
Designation:Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an
assigned business purpose as a "non-frequent driver" NOTE: A frequent
driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile
a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c)
drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of
