Unit Coordinator / Generalist
We are looking for energetic, passionate, confident, and skilled workers that are looking for an environment that makes a difference and is different every day. Clubhouses are unique locations that offers their members a vibrant, fun and challenging environment. This role requires great flexibility as you will work one-on-one and in groups. Our ideal team member would be someone that likes to motivate others in activities related to social and event planning, finding fundraising opportunities, attending health and wellness activities, and assisting in other unit activities related to food services, advocacy activities, and other manual and clerical responsibilities because this role requires you to have a passion to teach, organize, and plan.
In this important role, the Unit Coordinator is responsible for engaging Clubhouse members in the work of the Clubhouse. Work side-by-side with members to assist and connect with members aged 18-30 with navigating employment, education, community resources and finding a voice. You will be creating and organizing evening, weekend, holiday, and special events as a way to connect with the community, assisting members live a healthier lifestyle through organizing exercise opportunities, and Heath & Wellness educational forums. We aim to promote and offer a good health program to all of our members to live a healthier lifestyle.
We have an onsite gym and access to an offsite pool.
Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $21.37/hour
