General Summary

Under the supervision of Pharmacists, assists in the formulation, preparation, dispensing, and delivery of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.

Reporting Relationships

The Technician reports to the Director of Pharmacy and/or Pharmacist on duty. Job requires moderate level of supervision.

Qualifications

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of technician training program preferred.

Licensure : Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred.

Work Experience : One – two years working experience as a pharmacy technician in an institutional setting preferred.
