    This is a part-time, temporary position with no benefits except Colorado State retirement, PERA.

    SALARY: The pay range for Part-Time Instructors varies, depending on the type of course, the contact ratio and contact hours, as well as your level of education and years of teaching.  Please refer to our Part-Time Instructor Pay Matrix for detailed information.

     

     

     

    BENEFITS: Part-Time Instructors will have their hours measured on an annual basis to determine eligibility to enroll in medical health insurance only for the following benefit period.  (SEE: 2020-2021 Instructor & Variable Hour Employee Benefit Information)

    GENERAL SUMMARY

    THE DENTAL CLINIC AT FRONT RANGE COMMUNITY COLLEGE IS PART OF THE DENTAL ASSISTING PROGRAM WHICH HELPS PREPARE STUDENTS TO BECOME INVALUABLE AND CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF THE DENTAL PROFESSION. THIS CLINIC IS OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY AT A REDUCED FEE AND ALLOWS OUR STUDENTS TO GAIN THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING IN AN OFFICE AND INTERACTING WITH PATIENTS PRIOR TO GOING OUT ON THEIR EXTERNSHIP. THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION WITH SOME OVERSIGHT OF THE STUDENTS. (8-16 HOURS/WEEK FOR 5-8 WEEKS DURING THE FALL, SPRING, SUMMER OR ALL THREE SEMESTERS IF DESIRED)

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES

    RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY TO INCLUDE AMALGAM AND COMPOSITE RESTORATIONS, VERY SIMPLE EXTRACTIONS, SOME CROWN AND BRIDGE, AND PROPHY'S & SRP'S.
