As a Mobile Software Engineer in Xplor Fitness & Wellbeing, you’ll help the Mariana Tek mobile team build a suite of first in class mobile applications, used by hundreds of thousands of users. The mobile team is responsible for managing several apps across Android and iOS, supporting users in both business and customer-facing use cases. You will work closely with a smart and dedicated team to solve challenging problems across a variety of domains, including e-commerce, internationalization, reservations, and many more.  

What you’ll do 

• Help build and maintain our suite of iOS apps, including apps built for both iPhone and iPad 

• Contribute clean, performant, and bug free code to our mobile applications 

• Plan, build, and maintain front end features from the ground up powered by our platform’s various APIs 

• Implement features based on wireframes and completed designs 

• Develop mobile SDKs that power our internal apps. 

• Collaborate closely with product stakeholders, designers, and your fellow engineers to meet business objectives 

• Keep code maintainable and healthy by writing tests and documentation. 

• Provide constructive feedback to your colleagues’ pull requests, and accept constructive feedback on your own PRs in return 

• Participate actively and thoughtfully in the full Agile development lifecycle 

• The average base salary pay range for this position is $50,000 to $95,000

• May be considered for a discretionary bonus

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience building mobile apps or an equivalent software engineering experience.  

• Strong background and passion for working with Swift. We love it and write all our iOS apps with it. We primarily build in UIKit and have started using SwiftUI in new projects. 

• Bonus points for experience in Kotlin, Ruby, and Python. 

• Value the user experience of your code, just as much as it’s safety and performance. 

• Communicate clearly and kindly with technical and non-technical colleagues. 

• Currently maintain or have previously maintained at least one app in the App Store 

• Practice agile software development methodologies. 

• Work well with cross functioning teams 

• Familiar with git 

• Familiar with Cocoapods and Swift Package Manager

Bonus Qualifications 

• Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines via CircleCI 

• Familiar with fastlane 

• Previous experience working on white label apps 

• Passion for helping people live healthy lifestyles
