    As the Solutions Architect you will be responsible for all aspects of assigned GSS associated proposal technical response areas. This key personnel position is responsible for the development of the technical aspects of the contracts from technical and management planning, proposal preparation and transition and execution of services to our GSS customers.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    (not limited to duties as described - performs related duties as requested)

    · Technical writer developing written content on various Government and Commercial proposal efforts focused primarily on GSS projects.

    · High proficiency in developing written technical documents and briefing materials as needed.

    · Work with the Pricing team to develop the proposed Basis of Estimate of all task orders, ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place for operating costs.

    · Facilitate delivery of PMO-based support to OCONUS contracts, as needed, for timely and appropriate delivery of support and solutions.

    · Ensure contract compliance and regulation requirements, including the Joint Ethics Regulation, DoD 5500.7-R., Company policy and procedures and local requirements, as appropriate.

    · Develop statements of work and bid tabs for subcontracts issued on task orders.

    · Track the GSS program task order cycles, inform the Program Manager of impending requests for proposal and researching prior bid packages to prepare for proposal development.

    · Experience supporting working groups, studies and analysis, document reviews, and coordinates meetings as directed.

    · Experience with Installation Support, Base Operations Support, Air Traffic Management, Prime Power Management, and other professional technical services, etc.

    · Understanding of usability/quality principles and the ability to provide strong advocacy of customer documentation needs and requirements.

    · Technical experience and training sufficient to quickly gain a strong understanding of complex customer applications.

    · Good analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills; effective team player.

    · Strong organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

    · Follows document templates and style guides, as well as Request for Proposal (RFP) instructions.

    · Knowledge of and ability to use various word processing and desktop publishing software applications.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    · Bachelor of Science degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, structural or architectural engineering. Master’s degree preferred. (Subject matter certifications or experience may be considered in lieu of degree.)

    · 5 or more years of military engineering experience is required.

    · Experience in OCONUS combatant theaters and CONUS emergency response efforts.

    · Demonstrated working knowledge of US Government appropriations, USAF engineering, construction, services and commodities.

    · Experience working with US Army Corps of Engineers, Seabees, US Agency for International Development, Navy Facilities Command or similar.

    Security Clearance: Able to obtain a secret clearance.
