All About Kids is hiring Special Education Itinerant Teachers (SEIT) for our NYC DOE preschool program!

We work with many public, private and charter schools in meeting their therapy and special education needs for their students. We attract, retain, and manage our staff at the center of our organization delivering these services. Providing quality services is what we strive for with every single client and student. Once placed in a preschool assignment, AAK works with you every month to ensure your placement support. Our team will work with you on your professional goals and build a convenient caseload at a single location or closely located schools with minimal travel.

We will advocate when needed and recognize you for your success!

Our advocates will help you find the right school and caseload for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year!

Compensation_

• $68 per hour

_Requirements _

• BA/MA/MS and New York State Certification in any one of the following areas:
• Special Education Permanent Certificate
• Students with Disabilities, Birth to Grade 2
• Cannot be a current NYC DOE Employee

Responsibilities

• Provide services in school-based settings and work with a diverse client caseload
• Monitor and track progress on IEP goal(s)
• Develop and maintain a complete, accurate and current record with all required documents and data
• Deliver in-person services effectively
• Develop creative goal plans aimed at improving overall well-being
• Have excellent organizational skills
