Responsibilities: • Lead and manage banquet staff in Fairport, NY, US to ensure seamless operations during events. • Supervise the setup and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all requirements are fulfilled. • Address guest requests and issues promptly and professionally to enhance their overall experience. • Conduct training and provide support to banquet staff to uphold high service standards and professionalism. • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure timely and precise food and beverage service during events. Qualifications: • Must have a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in the food & beverage industry, with a preference for supervisory roles. • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role. • Proficient in using computers, business equipment, and software is required. • Must have the ability to work long hours occasionally. • Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force intermittently and up to 20 pounds of force frequently to handle objects. • Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels. • Should be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods and demonstrate flexibility in body movements. • Strong capability to thrive in a high-energy and high-stress environment while effectively multitasking.
