Position: Client Service Associate- Auto Insurance Claims
Location: North Phoenix, AZ
Worksite Arrangement: On-site. Opportunity to be hybrid after ~6months in the role (3 days in, 2 days remote)
Training Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm local time (~6-8 weeks)
Regular Schedule After Training: M-F 10am-6:30pm local time
Starting Compensation: $21.50/hr
Start date: May 5, 2025
Overview:
Avenica is currently evaluating talent for a Client Service Associate in the insurance industry. This person will be responsible for auto claims and policy inquiries from clients. No prior insurance or claims knowledge is required; full training supported by the team! Strong problem-solving and customer relationship management skills are a must. Great opportunities for long-term growth!
Responsibilities:
- Respond timely to customer inquiries through various communication channels (phone, email, system, etc), requires talk-typing ability for high-volume documentation while speaking with customers about their situation.
- Resolves claims through proactive problem-solving and decision making, while maintaining compliance
- Accurately process and document claim adjustments, damage evaluation, and investigation details for each case
- Applies appropriate coverage and liability, while resolving high volume and low complexity auto claims such as simple comprehensive and collision
- Build customer relationships during each interaction; this is NOT a call center type role so this is critical for long-term success! Goal is to work through customer case during first interaction
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contacts to facilitate claims resolutions
Requirements:
- 2+ years in a customer or client-facing environment required with high-volume phone and email communication
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Interest and comfortability in building customer relationships: each conversation requires empathy, attention to detail, and decision-making based on knowledge gained through training.
- Excellent decision-making skills and attention to detail. Apply knowledge from training and use resources provided to be comfortable making decisions and effectively close claims.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US, Avenica is not able to provide sponsorship at this time

- Strong technical skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Training will consist of various insurance assessments. Eligibility to continue in the position is based on passing. All necessary information and tools will be provided during training for support in passing!
- Must pass insurance licensing exam within the first ~6 months in the role. Cost and learning material also supported.
