Responsible for providing and coordinating On-The-Job-Training (OJT) for new hires and tenured employees in various areas of the warehouse and ramp Operation.
- Will conduct Interviews for open positions, track pipeline of candidates,attend Job Fairs
- Provides training for individual or in group settings to new hire as well as tenured employees
- Creates milestones to be achieved through training methods and create training plans.
- Conducts skill needs assessments to identify specific skill/knowledge gaps, training objectives, work situations and changes in training policies and procedures.
- Coordinates trainings and re-certifications, ensuring training is designed, delivered and evaluated for consistency.
- Assigns trainees with mentors and ensures adequate and proper OJT training is being provided
- Observes employees to determine the effectiveness of training programs and ensure that any additional training requirements are fulfilled.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and training procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and Safety Manager.
- Maintains a training log with trainees and records of qualifications, holds one-on-one meetings with new trainees and management.

Required Skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid drivers’ license.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off.
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Must possess leadership qualities.
- Knowledge and experience in warehouse and/or airline ground handling operations preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
