    Job Description

    As the Engineering Coordinator , you will directly report to the Director of Engineering Department and support the Engineering teams by overseeing work orders in HotSOS, by receiving, reviewing, and prioritizing work orders based on business needs ensuring that tasks are appropriately scheduled and assigned to the relevant engineering maintenance personnel. You will collaborate with departments and team leads to clarify details, allocate resources, and align timelines with operational and guest experience goals. Additionally, you will prepare reports on work order metrics to support leadership decision-making, monitor Medallia for insights, and assist team members with work order system troubleshooting and support.

    As an Engineering Coordinator, you will:

    • Professionally interact with vendors, contractors, and resort departments to facilitate project coordination and resolve issues.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with peers, external vendors, contractors, and ensuring compliance and effective partnership.
    • Receive, review, and prioritize work orders based on business needs ensuring that tasks are appropriately scheduled and assigned to the relevant engineering maintenance personnel.
    • Coordinate with departments and team leads to clarify work order details, required resources, and timelines, ensuring all work requests align with operational needs and guest experience goals.
    • Prepare regular reports on work order completion rates, response times, and backlog status for department leadership.
    • Monitors and reviews Medallia for issues and opportunities.
    • Support team members on using the work order system, answering questions and troubleshooting any system-related issues.
    • Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communications.
    • Perform custodial and maintenance duties, as needed.
    • Must have the ability to recognize and report potential hazards in the property.
    • Ability to communicate and interpret guest needs by positively interacting towards resolutions.
    • Must comply with all CFI policies and procedures.
    • Must represent Westgate Resorts in a professional manner through appearance, dress, and professional behavior always
    • Other duties as assigned by resort operations leadership.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in work order management systems (e.g., HotSOS ), Medallia, Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear, concise coordination across departments.
    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; focused on word and excel.
    • Strong organizational, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members in an attentive and service-oriented manner.
    • Ability to handle mathematical calculations related to payroll and purchase orders.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Must have valid Driver’s license from the State where job is located.
