    Job Description

    This is an entry level role

    The primary responsibilities for an Financial Clerk include:

    • Processing check payments
    • Reconcile bank deposits
    • Preparing month-end reports and reconcile invoices
    • Respond to credit card disputes and customer refunds
    • Filing and shipping paperwork
    • Month end spreadsheets
    • Generate daily reports for management
    • Assisting with timekeeping and other clerical duties as needed

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    As an Financial Clerk you must have:

    • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge with aptitude to learn new software and systems
    • Excellent communication skills and works well with others
    • Strong organization Skills
    • Focus on accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
    • Preferably an Associate degree with continuing education or 1-2 years in similar position
    • Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentage allocation skills.
    • Ability to write formulas to build basic spreadsheets
    • Ability to understand basic accounting principles to reconcile accounts and resolve out of balances
    • Ability to lift and/or move objects of a maximum of 20 pounds
